Tour Part 1 Libera Blog!

Libera has a new blog out and it's very nice. Of course the mystery goes on as to who wrote it, and in my opinion, it has to be Ben Philipp. Read it here for yourself! If you do not want to, I will sum it up for all you lazy bums like me. 

Heading over to the Cathedral. It just looks hot in that picture!

On July 22nd they left their lovely country of England to head over to the US. First they went to the Cathedral in St. Paul (not St. Paul's Cathedral). They were practicing to perform a mass there the next morning and perform the 2nd concert.

After that they headed over to the venue for the Starkey Hearing Foundation Gala and they had a practice there. While they were there, they actually got to meet and take a picture with Miley Cyrus! They were looking at some of the things up for auction and some of them went as high as a six figure number. Nice! 

Then they went in to the Science Museum. They watched a film about King Tut on a screen according to the writer was ginormous! That night they went to the Starkey event and saw loads of famous people like Miley Cyrus and former US President Bill Clinton. (Imagine meeting people like that in one night?! Like Miley Cyrus is awesome, but then meeting a former president, and then singing in front of him?! Like, come on. That's... that's the meaning of once in a lifetime.. although they've done stuff like that before... you know what, nevermind.. lol)

 They stayed at Madden's Resort. There they could play any sports they want, from tennis to basketball, they could do whatever and be boys. They had some buffets, which were huge, but always customary on tour. Later they had their first concert, which went great. The day after they took a banana boat down the Mississippi River and then they went into the pool that evening. I'm sure that was refreshing.

It looks like they had a load of fun in the beginning of the tour! I can't wait for the next post!
